I have to tell you....I LOVE "My Digital Studio" !!!! There is a lot to learn but it's truly "user-friendly" ! I'm looking forward to learning more and more about this amazing programme and sharing what I learn with you :) !
One of the great things about the software is it gives you access to a ton of stamp sets. I don't actually have "Good Friend" (I mean I have a lot of Good Friends but I don't have the "Good Friend" stamp set :) ! BUT....let me tell ya....now I NEED that stamp set ! It's a great way to "test drive" a stamp set before you purchase it too :) !!
Here's the card I made using My Digital Studio and received my finished project in the mail yesterday ! What a nice surprise to get a card in the mail from myself....hehehehe :)
Here's the inside of my card and the best part is....it comes with an envelope :) !!!
You can make complete Scrapbook Albums, Calendars and much much more with My Digital Studio ! I'm going to start working on my 2010 Calendar this weekend !!!

Holla......have you missed me???? I've missed you !!!
Wow...what a week in the Somerville household ! First Jess got sick two weeks ago, then Kevin last weekend, then Mac & Brooke! Everyone seems to be on the mend now but I'm pooped ! That's why I didn't post for a few days there....my family needed me and my motto has and will always be...Family First ! Now that everyone is back to school and work I'm hoping that means I get more stamping time :) I did sneak away to my little space yesterday and wanted to make a little card that reminded me of this past week. Thick or thin, sickness or healthy...we're happy together !! That's one of the great things about family...we always know we're there for each other ! I must have been more tired than I thought....I laid down yesterday evening at 6:00pm and woke up at 6:00am this morning !!! WOWZA ! I do feel much better today though, so I guess I needed that sleep :)

On Thursday evening Brooke wasn't feeling well so I slept downstairs with her on the couches. When I woke up in the morning Dawson was laying on the same couch as Brooke...he must have sensed she wasn't feeling well....look how adorable he is !!!! Brooke must have been tossing stuff around through the night but he didn't care...he just needed to stay close to her.
Well it feels good to be back....I've missed you guys ! I'm planning on doing a video this afternoon (if all goes well) and will be posting it in a few days !

I don't know about you but I LOVE the Christmas season !!! Living in South Western Ontario we do get to experience all four seasons in full force :) The farmer's almanac is predicting that the snow will come early and stay late but we won't get the huge accumulations that we got last year. So.....when will it snow ???? I don't know but I'm not gonna lie...I hope it's soon !!!
With the Christmas season in mind I wanted to share with you a card that we made at Rosemary's workshop last week. This was a super simple card to make and the ladies loved adding the bling of Dazzlin' Diamonds :) !

First let me tell you about my blast from the past !!! I got an email the other day from a gal that I grew up...Sandee Wiltshire !!! Her and I were childhood friends and stood up in each other's wedding almost 25 years ago !!! Sandee & John have 3 beautiful children !! What a wonderful blessing to get her email and we've been madly emailing each other, getting us all caught up in each other's lives !!! Sandee will always be a big part of my life....we did a lot of growing up together and I treasure each and every one of our childhood, teenage and young adult memories together !!! Sandee...if you're reading this post..thank you, thank you, thank you for getting in touch with me again !!!! I look forward to many more emails together !! :)
I finally got around to taking a picture of the 5th and final Stamp a Stack card that we did on October 24th !!! I miss all the ladies already !! That was such a fun day and the food drive and donations to John Gordon Aids Hospice was the icing on the cake !!!!

Hey There My Sweet Friends !!!!
We really had a great Hallowe'en evening on Saturday night. Cait & Ben called us on Wednesday saying they'd like to take Brooke & Mac out trick or treating. So I put on a big roast and we all had supper together and then Ben & Cait took the girls out.

Good Saturday to You My Friends !!!
Can you believe Hallowe'en is here already !! It's tomorrow (November 1st) that I get excited about....why, you might ask???? Cause that's when we start decorated for CHRISTMAS !!!! Yup....the tree will hopefully be up by the end of this week and I've got my wreath all ready to go up tomorrow !! The kids in our neighbourhood will trick or treat to Christmas carols at our home :) !! Thankfully, Kevin is just like me !! He loves the house decorated, so we work well together for getting up the decorations early !!
With Christmas in mind I wanted to share one of the cards that my club girls did on Tuesday evening ! I LOVE our Stampin' Up! stencils and have really loved playing with them ! Here's a card that inspired by Patty Bennett she actually created a frame using the ornament stencils but since I wanted to make a card, I did some masking instead so that it would fit on a cardfront. This card is a 5"x 5" and yup....that's Christmas ornaments in the background ! My Christmas centrepiece is already on the table !!!!

As a special way to say thank the ladies that attended my Christmas Stamp a Stack for the first time I gave them each a cute little decorated box with 5 Belgium Chocolates inside. I also gave one to the lady that invited her to come :)
I thought I might have to make a few of these for the event but much to my exitement.....I had to make 40 boxes :) !!!

I've had so much fun and exciting stuff happening lately that my head is truly spinning :) !!! I'm still trying to bring myself down from Saturday's Stamp a Stack....what a blast that was !!! Then yesterday I had a workshop with Rosemary and her dear friends...we had a great time together ! Rosemary is such a sweetheart....I can't imagine my life without her...she's become someone very special to me !! Tonight I have my club girls over for the evening !!! WOWZA....what a great week !!! This will be Jessica, Carolyn, Linda, Wendy, Diane, Sue, Barb, Sarah & My Mum's last club month together...not gonna lie...I'll be teary tonight ! I love all these ladies !!!
Okay...must change subject so that I don't start crying now !
Today I wanted to share with you the BONUS CARD that everyone made at Saturday's Stamp a Stack ! This card was my little gift to each one of the ladies that attended or purchased kits :) The inspiration for the non-traditional Christmas colours in this card came when I was in "The Bay" last year and saw Christmas decorations with bright pink and green and fell in love with it !!!

How do I even begin to say thank you to everyone that attended My Annual Ginormous Christmas Stamp a Stack event !!!! We all had so much fun and the ladies did a "kick butt" job on their projects !!

Good Friday Mornin' To Ya !!!!
Well tomorrow is MY GINORMOUS CHRISTMAS STAMP A STACK !!!!!! To say that I'm excited is a HUGE understatement !!
Everything is coming together really, really well !!! But...I'm not gonna lie...I stayed up till 2:30am working to get the last minute details done but I FEEL GREAT TODAY !!! I'm ready to roll for tomorrow and also ready to have a blast with everyone who will be joining me !!!!!
I'm also VERY PUMPED that we're going to be collecting donations for the London Area Food Bank AND for every 5 cans that the ladies bring they'll get a FREE TICKET on a draw for the GIFT BASKET !! PLUS they can purchase tickets for an even better chance to win a GORGEOUS BASKET !!!! All ticket sales will go to the John Gordon Aids Hospice in memory of my cousin, Lori.
Here's my sweet Lori...I miss her so much and I know she'd be so proud of what we're all doing tomorrow...
I'm so grateful to my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators who also donated to help make this gift basket possible....I love you guys so much !
