Snow Update: Snowed a little yesterday.....gone within a few hours of sunrise :( !!

Kitchen Update: Kevin is drywalling today...we had a bit of a stand still in the kitchen but we're back on track today :) !!

Today I FINALLY had a chance to steal away in my little stamping space to stamp for a little while.  It sure felt good to just stamp for fun and enjoy being alone for a few moments :)  It's definitely a time of refreshment for me !!

I LOVE Sweet Season.....so cute !!!  So today's card using the scallop snowflake and wording from that set :)  The layout is pretty much a complete copy of Kimberly's card, which you can see HERE

A good friend of mine emailed me a link to a video that she found and wanted to share it with me.  I wept as I watched this video of a drama from the church "Lifehouse".  What a vivid reminder of how God not only watches over us and protects us but He also FIGHTS for us !!!  What a beautiful reminder of how He fights over those we love...

Here's her adorable card using Holiday Lineup but she used the Elves...how cute is this !!!!!  She put together the entire card by herself....I only precut the cardstock..she did everything else by herself !!!!

So......the kitchen reno is going well but with all DIY jobs it takes a lot longer.  Poor Kevin...every evening and weekend is about reno's but he's doing a great job and I'm so excited about what the end result will be! 

Right now we're gutted....hehehe....the kitchen that is :) !  I'm going to share a "during" picture...bare in mind...this is an old house and what lies behind cupboards is sometimes a little scary :)  We're all coping well with living out of kitchen boxes and making do with a gutted and very ugly kitchen right now.  We're hoping by the weekend to have all the drywalling done and be ready for painting the walls and tiling the counter :) !!! How exciting !!

You've gotta know how much I love you guys to share this picture with you all !!!!

It's Only Rock 'n Roll But I Like it :) !!!!!!!!!! Stamp Sets Draw !!!!! And an unexpected kitchen gutting adventure!!

How you doin' today? :)  I'm doing good in spite of being in the middle of a kitchen gutting !!  Yup...you know how it goes...you say "we'll just repaint the cupboards and paint the walls and before you know it....you're gutting the kitchen !!!  We definitely didn't want/plan this but once I emptied all the cupboards to get ready for painting we realized our very, very old cupboards had serious structure problems that would only get worse We knew they were bad but they were much, much worse than we thought !  We live in a home that is almost 120 years old and the cupboards are 50+ years old !  The upside of all of us is this thankfully my incredible husband & dad (whose away golfing right now and doesn't know we'll be asking for his help yet :)...love ya Dad !!) can do the work of making the cupboards and installing (otherwise we would just be repainting cupboards :) I have to admit...I'm pretty excited !!!  Kevin and I ripped out the top cupboards last night and tonight we'll do the counter and bottom cupboards !!!  I'm taking pictures so I'll show you before/during and after pictures :) !!!

Anywhoooooo.....on Monday night about 20 ladies gathered under the leadership of our fearless leader Alicia Ryckman !!! to make our very own technique books !!!  Oh my gosh !!!! I love mine !!!!!  I'm DEFINITELY going to offer this as a class in the New Year !!!!  I was asked to (wo)man the Rock n' Roll table so I wanted to make a few cards to have on hand that I've used this technique for to show the ladies.

Onto to something very sweet to share with you.....so, I had my club girls over last week and Mackenzie asked if she could make a card upstairs while I had my class.  To which I replied....ABSOLUTELY !!!  About a half an hour later she came down and quietly dropped her card on my lap.  After I swelled with pride I showed the rest of the ladies what she had made me!!! 

Here's the beautiful card she made me.....Mackenzie, I'm so grateful to have you in my life !!!

It's Snowman Snowglobe Video Day !!!

HO HO HO HOLLA !!!!!

It's VIDEO day :) !!!!  Kevin was sweet enough to edit the video for me last night so we're ready to roll with it today :) !

OOPS !!!  I just watched my video again and I mistakeningly say "Use you're 1 3/8" circle punch to cut out a circle from the Christmas Cocoa paper"  BUT IT'S NOT......YOU ONLY USE THE 1 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH FOR THIS PROJECT.....SORRY ABOUT THAT :) !

Okey Dokey.....onto our Stamp Club Project #2 !  This month we hi-lighted stenciling and masking.  So....for our 2nd project we made our own stencil to make this adorable Dasher Card !!!  Whose a Dasher fan???? I AM, I AM, I AM !!!!!  He's soooooooo cute and I love that it's a single image stamp !!!

Tags, Tags, Tags....get your Christmas Tags !!! :) :) :) New Stamp Club Starting In February !!

Holla To You My Dear, Sweet & Wonderful Friends !!!

What a gorgeous day here !!!!  The sun is shining and it's just slightly cool (not cool enough to snow though :(  I took down all our Autumn decorations and Thursday we'll be putting up the Christmas tree and the rest of the decorations !!!!  YIPPEEE !!!!!

I don't know if you remember that awhile ago I was telling you that Kevin and I are doing a DIY Kitchen makeover :)  We're not gutting the kitchen but doing some rearranging, painting, etc. and I'm SOOOOO excited !!!  I've taken some "before" pictures and if everything goes according to plan everything will be finished by mid- December and I'll show you the "after" pictures then !!!  I'll keep you posted :) !!

If all goes well I'll have the Snowman Globe video ready to post tomorrow :) !!!

My amazing upline Alicia showed me how to use the Ornament punch and Delightful Decorations to make gift tags !!  I was so jazzed about it that I used my Level 2 - Christmas punches and made a bunch more :) !!!!

Wowza....I've missed you guys !! This flu bug that we all got (yup...I ended up with it too !!!) sure sucks the life out of you !  It's taken me so much longer than I thought or hoped to get caught up and as a result my blogging took a beating !  I'm so sorry....I hope you guys still love me ????  I'm FINALLY feeling like I can get back to the things I love and missed while we were all sick !  If you've had this bug...you know exactly what I'm taking about.  Even after we were all feeling better we had absolutely NO energy BUT it's great to feel that coming back now and I'm ready to roll...I hope you'll forgive my recent absence and join me again :) !!!

Good Friend Meets My Digital Studio :)

Holla There My Sweet Friends :) !!

How you doin'?  Are you having a good day so far?  I hope so :)

I have to tell you....I LOVE "My Digital Studio" !!!!  There is a lot to learn but it's truly "user-friendly" !  I'm looking forward to learning more and more about this amazing programme and sharing what I learn with you :) !

One of the great things about the software is it gives you access to a ton of stamp sets.  I don't actually have "Good Friend" (I mean I have a lot of Good Friends but I don't have the "Good Friend" stamp set :) !  BUT....let me tell ya....now I NEED that stamp set !  It's a great way to "test drive" a stamp set before you purchase it too :) !!

Here's the card I made using My Digital Studio and received my finished project in the mail yesterday !  What a nice surprise to get a card in the mail from myself....hehehehe :) 

 

Here's the inside of my card and the best part is....it comes with an envelope :) !!!
